This place is a habitat for many birds and penguins. The view from the top is a symbol of the Galapagos Islands, captured by many photographers. Here you can see small reef sharks. Return to the south beach, where the shallow sea gives you the opportunity to swim and snorkel next to Galapagos penguins, starfish, stingrays, sea turtles and many exotic colorful fish, as well as you can see several species of permanent residents of the islands: marine iguanas, sea lions, pelicans and more. Lunch on board after this amazing adventure.
Seymour Island
This tour allows you to visit Seymour Norte Island and the beaches of Bachas. We will take a bus to the yacht in the Itabaka Channel, and then we will sail for one hour to the island of North Seymour. Disembark on a rocky beach near a small forest of gray and silver palo Santo trees, which are leafless most of the year.
North Seymour Island is famous for its numerous colonies of different bird species. Especially memorable are the males of magnificent frigates with their red goiter, which they use to attract females during the mating season, and the famous blue-footed boobies. These seabirds have a wedge-shaped tail and long pointed wings. During mating dances, males raise one wing up and one blue paw and start dancing in order to impress the females. The tour will continue on the beach with small cliffs, where you can see sea gulls, many sea lions, marine iguanas and pelicans. Most animals can be observed at arm’s length. A freshly prepared lunch is served on board the yacht.
During the afternoon break, the yacht will continue sailing to the beaches of Bachas on the north coast of Santa Cruz Island. First, we will walk to the lagoon behind the beach, frequented by flamingos. Next, we will have a refreshing swim and snorkeling on the paradise uninhabited beach with white sand and turquoise water! Sea lions, different types of stingrays, sea turtles and tropical fish can join you during this underwater adventure!
Return to Puerto Ayora at about 4:30 p.m.
Santa Cruz Island and Isabella
Day 1. Meeting at the airport of Baltra island. Visit to the Giant Turtle Reserve in the highlands of Santa Cruz Island (turtles in the wild).
Day 2. Excursion to Charles Darwin Station from the Fausto Llerena Breeding Center, which is the home of turtles (from newly hatched 3-inch to 4-foot long ones). Here you will see a variety of turtle species interacting with each other. Babies are kept under guard until they turn 5 years old, and they are released into the wild. After lunch, we will go to Tortuga Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches of the islands and Ecuador. Here you can see marine iguanas, sharks, and fur seals.
Day 3. Arrival at Isabella Island, the largest island in the archipelago. We’ll be on it all day. The program includes a sea trip to observe Galapagos sharks. Then tourists are invited to snorkel in the Pearl Pearl village. And at the end of the day we will visit the giant turtles. Return to the hotel on Santa Cruz Island.
Day 4. On the last day of our unforgettable tour, we will go to the twin volcanic formations where we will continue our acquaintance with the island’s endemics. After that, transfer to the airport on Baltra Island.
Santa Fe Island — sport fishing and snorkeling
It takes an hour and 15 minutes to sail to Santa Fe Island. From the yacht we can see the cactus forest that grows on this island. In addition, in these serene turquoise waters inhabited by colonies of pelicans, blue-footed boobies, sea lions, you can snorkel or swim side by side with harmless rays, tropical fish and sea turtles.
Lunch will be served on board the yacht. Next, it is possible to engage in sport fishing. If you’re lucky, you can catch big fish! Then we will go to Playa Escondida, where you can relax before returning to the hotel.

Many thanks to Diego for the preparation, organization and time spent with us during the trip to the Galapagos Islands in January 2026. It turned out to be a very balanced and exciting program on the islands of Santa Cruz, Isabela, San Cristobal and Espanola. Diego’s side has an excellent command of the Russian language, especially given the many specific names of flora and fauna, knowledge of history and many interesting facts about the inhabitants of the islands, clarity, punctuality, attentiveness to our requests and wishes, but without imposing anything. Diego is a wonderful swimmer — he gave us a lot of wonderful underwater pictures, and he is a very comfortable conversationalist, with a sensitive but very tactful sense of humor. Special thanks for helping us find our luggage, which is stuck in Colombia, and helping us on the San Cristobal wreck. It was very comfortable, reliable and interesting all the 7 days that he was with us on the islands. I completely agree with other reviews that without Diego, we wouldn’t have gotten even half of the buzz and the moments we need to go there for. We saw everything we wanted and read about before the trip, but it’s almost impossible to describe it — you need to see and feel it! In November 2025, we traveled for one day to Quito. I wanted to see as much as possible in one day. I found a Russian-speaking guide on the Internet, Diego. In the morning, Diego picked us up from the hotel and our tour began. Diego showed us and told us in an interesting way about all the sights of the historical center of the city, took us to the equator line, to Mount Pucu Pichincha with a magnificent view of the city, climbed Mount Panasillo with the monument to the Madonna of Quito. We also tried the delicious Ecuadorian cuisine. We really liked everything. Thanks to Diego, we managed to see a lot in one day. Diego also helped us quickly register our plane tickets (on the airline’s website, registration was in Spanish). Diego is a knowledgeable and loving person. Studying at the biology department at the university, and then teaching biology to children, I repeatedly dreamed of following the path of Charles Darwin. And now my dream has come true. I visited a fairy tale called "Realities". A dream tour of the Galapagos Islands. To say that you liked it is to say nothing… A lot of emotions and impressions. There are two types of volcanic lavas, some with drawings that I saw for the first time, although I have been to many volcanoes in the world, lava tunnels, active volcanoes, incredible cacti, including lava cacti, beaches with snow-white sand, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, the transparent warm Pacific Ocean with 50 shades of blue, and most importantly — endemics that can no longer be found anywhere else in the wild: impressive-sized land turtles that constantly chew grass, marine iguanas, like lost baby dragons, gliding in salty waters and basking on rocks and sands, Galapagos seals-the smallest of the eared seals, resting on beaches and piers with people, finches with different shapes Gapagos penguins are the northernmost and smallest of the swimming, blue-footed boobies, as if wearing shoe covers. Swimming with sea turtles and sharks is an emotion and adrenaline rush for life… God, I saw it all with my own eyes…

Today is exactly one month since our wonderful trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos with Diego ended. We had a group of 11 experienced tourists. The journey began on December 28, 2024 in Quito, and on January 8, 2025, we said goodbye to Diego, our wonderful guide. In the spring of '24, the travel agency and I continued to explore South America, but they were the cherry on the cake — the Galapagos Islands and Diego. Diego accompanied us as a guide during the best days of our trip. From the first minutes of our meeting, Diego proved himself to be a wonderful guide who loves not only his work, but also his home. There can be no better guide who tells you not just about the place where you arrived, but about your home — with a thousand details about each inhabitant of the islands, the culture of the locals. As soon as we got off the taxi boat, we realized who the owners were (well, Diego warned us). We were greeted by fur seals and pelicans at the marina, terrestrial iguanas immediately from the plane ramp (an open airport), marine iguanas on the beaches of the Pacific Ocean, and also sharks, fur seals and turtles in the open ocean. Well, the most important favorites were the blue-footed boobies, of course, because of their paws. In his free time, which was provided by the tour, Diego suggested where to go, what to see, where to eat. He was not just a guide — he was a member of our team who supported us while snorkeling, spent evenings and sunsets on the ocean with us, had dinner with us at local cafes (how delicious it was), showed laundries, danced samba with us and much more. We said goodbye tearfully, we all loved the Galapagosses with Diego very much. In general, you can list a lot for us, but I’d rather not spoil it. Dear friends, dreamers and travelers, I have visited the Galapagos Islands in my eighth decade! I couldn’t even dream of this adventure, but it happened. Here, black iguanas swim in the salty ocean water, then sneeze it out through their nostrils, and penguins frolic thousands of miles from Antarctica. This place is full of wonders! The Galapagos! Islands born of fire ! Inhabited by inhabitants who have radically changed our understanding of the origin of life on earth. The Galapagos Islands are where Arctic currents break into the warm equatorial waters, as a result of which completely inharmonious creatures exist quite harmoniously side by side.:cold-loving penguins and tropical fish, fur seals and heat-loving sea rays, whales, dolphins and sharks. Our wonderful guide in the Galapagos, Diego, did his best to make sure that we saw everything and not only saw — we swam with huge turtles, sharks, sea lions, stingrays, marine iguanas … Here boobies with blue paws, as if they forgot to take off their shoe covers, strutting along the rocks! We conquered volcanoes and lava tunnels, walked through the cactus forest and rested on the beach of Tortuga Bay. We took a cruise to the island of Tintoreras Everywhere, every minute, our wonderful Dieguito was with us! How lucky we are! He is a very handsome man with a generous soul and an open heart! In November—December 2023, Diego worked with our large and diverse group (10 people) on the mainland: Quito, Banos, Otvalo and the Galapagos Islands. We developed the program together, in advance. Not a single free, boring minute! It is very interesting, fun, informative, bright, delicious! Diego provided all the transfers (nice, clean bus, not a minute late!). Great guided tours. My friends and I (12 people) booked a cruise to the Galapagos Islands as part of our trip to Ecuador. What a surprise it was when it turned out that there is a Russian-speaking guide Diego in the Galapagos. We asked the cruise organizers to book Diego’s guide services for our group, and they agreed. We met with a very intelligent man, a graduate of the University of Physics and Mathematics Patrice Lumumba.
